Where can I park?
There is free street parking along Guinan Street right beside the building. We also have a small parking lot to the left of our entrance. Please note that the Metal Werx lot is reserved for their customers; parking there may result in towing.

What are your hours of operation?
Members who have completed orientation and received the door code may access the studio at any time.
Our staffed Open Studio hours are:
Monday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Thursday: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy. We have aprons that are helpful but not required. Please avoid baggy tops, long strings, tie-back long hair, and wear closed-toed shoes for safety.

Can I bring my own clay or glazes?
To ensure consistency and reliability, all clay must be provided by the studio.
You are welcome to bring commercial glazes or underglazes suitable for cone 6 firings, but please check with a staff member before using them.

What clay bodies do you offer?
We offer 4 varieties of cone 6 clays.
Laguna 65 smooth white stoneware good for throwing
Laguna 66 same as 65 but includes grog
Laguna 80 smooth red/brown very plastic for throwing
Laguna 90 rich red/brown with grog
